"I am a psychologist who specializes in helping individuals learn how to reach their full potential. I help people go from feeling stuck in an area of their life to achieving a more peaceful and skillful sense of self."
My Background
I am a clinical psychologist in private practice. My clinical practice specializes in women’s issues and reproductive health. These areas include fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum adjustment to parenthood. I have led women's support groups, parents via egg donation support groups, and mindfulness for fertility classes. I also provide consultation during various stages of fertility treatment and conduct third party reproduction assessments. I work closely with reproductive endocrinologists, OGBYNs, pediatricians and internal medicine physicians. My practice focuses on the integration of three major therapeutic approaches: dynamic psychotherapy, cognitive therapy, and mindfulness.
I am a graduate of the Universidad De Las Americas (BA in Psychology) and Illinois School of Professional Psychology (M.A., Psy.D. in clinical psychology). I completed my doctoral residency at Illinois Masonic Behavioral Health, and received post-residency training at Swedish Covenant Hospital, and postdoctoral training at Chicago's Institute for Psychoanalysis.
My clinical and life experiences, and personal style together give me the advantage of understanding and feeling comfortable with many types of people and situations.
